In this exciting new role, as a Senior Shopper Behavior Manager on the PepsiCo Walmart team, you will take a leadership role on the new Luminate data platform and collaborate with the PBNA Commercial Insights team and commercial business partners such as Sales, Marketing, E-Comm and Supply Chain to identify opportunities and provide in depth expertise on shopper behavior to inform growth strategies. You will also be responsible for building some of our shopper digital capabilities around innovation, events and stores. You will also seek to leverage consumer and shopper insights to incorporate consumer need states and macro and Walmart specific shopper insights. Specifically, this role will work to identify Walmart shopper trends, shopper behavior insights, competitive threats, and customer strategies to increase sales, drive category and PepsiCo portfolio growth and deliver increased share of market. You will provide critical expertise and thought leadership of the Luminate data platform and be actively engaged with the PBNA Commercial team to understand goals, problems to solve and bring important contextual business understanding to your analytical projects. You will be expected to be a thought leader and positively influence the commercial decision-making process. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of Category Management experience within the consumer-packaged-goods industry.
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking; ability to link strategies and objectives to develop compelling stories.
  • Strong data analysis, problem-solving orientation.
  • Experience working with commercial sales teams on business development projects preferred with focus on strategy to execution.
  • Strong thought-leadership and influencing skills.
  • Ability to proactively set and lead an insights agenda.
  • Working knowledge of syndicated data via Circana and/or Nielsen required.
  • Highly proficient with MS PowerPoint, MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of SQL, ThoughtSpot, PowerBI is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI beneficial but not required.
  • Consumer insights experience beneficial.
  • Understanding of shopper insights and panel data preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Be a thought leader for the 'Disaggregation and Optimization' capability agenda including developing digital capabilities in partnership with Advanced Analytics.
  • Lead the integration of SB segments to Walmart Connect to enable tracking and measuring of targeted activation.
  • Develop design, strategy and planning for digital capabilities that will support in quickly identifying store level opportunities across channels.
  • Utilize syndicated consumer and market data for the purposes of uncovering compelling insights.
  • Master the Scinitilla (Previously known as 'Luminate') shopper data platform and be expert on utilization for commercial insights team.
  • Leverage shopper and consumer insights in the development of category and brand growth strategies.
  • Integrate information from many sources and develop actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Participate in customer strategic planning processes.
  • Provide skillful analysis and support PEP executive team with data, dashboards, analysis and key business reporting.

Benefits

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $118,700 - $198,800.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
