The Service Sales Representative is responsible for the sales of maintenance service contracts, Critical Space Services, and Professional Assessments along with Battery and Capacitor Replacements for Vertiv accounts within an assigned territory. The Maintenance services contract sales include renewals of existing contracts, sales of new contracts (equipment coming out of warranty), sales of service contracts with new equipment, and conversion of non-contract customers/existing third-party service agreements to Vertiv Services. Driving sales of the Critical Space Services and the Professional Assessments are also key responsibilities of the position. Responsible for Equipment Maintenance Contract Sales and Electrical Testing Services to Vertiv customers.

  • Pursue warranty and renewal service contract opportunities for our core products - Thermal and A/C Power.
  • Conduct customer-facing sales calls to drive business and awareness of Vertiv offerings.
  • Grow our critical space business - Thermal Management service contracts, Thermal upgrades and electrical testing services.
  • Assist equipment sales reps in quoting service contracts to be sold concurrently with Vertiv Thermal and Power equipment.
  • Train and mentor less experienced team members.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 8 years of relevant sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capable of proactive resolution of contract and product issues
  • Experience with CRM Systems
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Driver's License Required.
  • Technical Sales and/or Service Sales experience.
  • Strong technical background and skills
  • Knowledge of UPS/Power products and Services
