About The Position

The Senior Service Center Technician is responsible for evaluating and repairing submersible wastewater pumps (Flygt) at branch locations. This role includes mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. Product-specific training will be provided. This position may also involve customer interaction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2–5 years of technical work experience
• Electrical and/or mechanical experience required

Nice To Haves

• Experience in process water is considered an asset
• Experience working on submersible pumps is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, repair, and conduct mechanical and electrical testing of submersible wastewater pumps
• Operate industrial equipment in a shop environment (forklifts, overhead cranes, etc.)
• Use company-provided hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Maintain accurate records within Xylem’s work-order management system
• Create and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Safeguard company property and equipment
• Demonstrate a High-Impact Culture through innovation, accountability, and empowerment
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Work independently in most situations
