About The Position

As Sr. Security Systems Engineer II, you’ll design and integrate enterprise security tools into a cohesive, enclave‐based architecture supporting classified and mission‐critical operations across hybrid environments. This role leads system design and migration efforts, working closely with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ensure secure, scalable solutions that meet accreditation and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong systems engineering background, experience with security architectures and RMF/ATO processes, and a proven ability to translate complex requirements into operable solutions within TS/SCI environments. Requirements

  • An active TS/SCI clearance
  • 7–10 years total experience, with 5+ years in systems engineering and/or security engineering
  • Strong systems engineering background (requirements, design, integration)
  • Experience with enterprise security architectures and tool integration
  • Knowledge of hybrid infrastructure (VMware + cloud environments)
  • Familiarity with RMF, ATO processes, and security controls
  • Ability to develop technical documentation and architecture diagrams
  • Experience with network and system security design principles

Responsibilities

  • Architect and integrate security tools into a cohesive enclave-based solution
  • Define system requirements, interfaces, and data flows across platforms
  • Lead migration design efforts, including system dependencies and transition strategies
  • Ensure systems meet security accreditation and compliance requirements
  • Conduct system testing, validation, and performance tuning
  • Collaborate across engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams
