As a Sr. Security Specialist you will develop and administer policies and programs to ensure the facility has effective company security procedures and techniques. Additionally, you will serve as representative in a U.S. Customs environment. You will also work in daily partnership with law enforcement partners to action “real-time” data intelligence. As well as use information gathered to identify, target, and remove narcotics, prohibited goods and contraband from the DHL global network.

Requirements

Experienced professional contributor with responsibility for an advanced area of work in the professional field
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be willing to be sign an NDA and obtain a government/security clearance.

Responsibilities

Is the main point of contact with U.S. Customs and serves as a DHL Representative when interacting with government officials.
Provides technical expertise and knowledge in DHL operations.
Upholds and ensures legal compliance/company policy.
Collaborates with law enforcement, government partners and internal organizations on threat/targeting information sharing.
Develops security standards, best practices, in addition to threat detection and DHL network safeguards via advance mitigation efforts.
Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding sensitive investigations and information.
Analyzes structured and unstructured data from various sources to target live shipments in the DHL network, identify trends, vulnerabilities, and threats.
Transform raw information into actionable insights that strengthen the DHL network.
Conduct pro-active and reactive investigations into incidents to include illegal drugs, contraband, prohibited goods and fraud.
Prepares detailed reports and threat assessments for senior leadership and internal/external stakeholders.
Advise leadership on findings and recommends appropriate strategies and mitigation measures.
