About The Position

SAIC is seeking a seasoned Scrum Master to join our Feature Delivery Team. This role is crucial for driving the success of our Agile processes, ensuring efficient and quality delivery of features while collaborating closely with development and operations teams. The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile ceremonies, manage backlogs, and promote best practices to enhance team performance and meet strategic objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration with 10 years of experience, or a Master's degree and 7 years of experience.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Experience with Agile software development tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello).
• Strong facilitation skills to guide and manage team dynamics effectively.
• Demonstrable expertise in Scrum and other Agile methodologies.

Nice To Haves

• Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
• Collaborate with product owners and development teams to prioritize and groom the product backlog.
• Act as a liaison between development teams and operations and maintenance (O&M) to support sidecar integration strategies.
• Work closely with developers and the O&M team to ensure completed features are ready for deployment.
• Introduce and reinforce industry best practices for Agile software development.
• Proactively identify and address impediments affecting the delivery team's progress.
• Apply Agile metrics and reporting techniques to assess progress, efficiency, and team performance.
