Find your future at Revvity BioLegend is seeking a Bioassay Scientist to join the Molecular and Cellular Biology (MCBio) team. This role is responsible for developing and optimizing cell-based bioassays and functional binding assays to evaluate the activity and performance of recombinant proteins and neutralizing antibodies, supporting research, development, and product quality initiatives.
Requirements
- MS in Biology or a related field with at least 5+ years of relevant laboratory experience OR PhD in Biology or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in cell based assay development and functional binding assay development
- 5+ years of experience in tissue/cell culture
Nice To Haves
- MS in Biology or a related field with at least 10+ years of relevant laboratory experience
- PhD in Biology or a related field with at least 3+ years of relevant laboratory experience
- Experience in cell based assay development and functional binding assay development
- 5+ years of experience in tissue/cell culture
Responsibilities
- Develop cell based assays and functional binding assays
- Optimize and trouble shoot existing assays
- Document experiments and results in a regulatory compliant manner
- Effectively communicate experimental results and strategies in presentations and written reports
- Write SOP and protocols in support of new product release
- Work across functional groups to facilitate new product development
- Maintain scientific knowledge and critically evaluate scientific literature and industry trends in order to contribute to new product development
