What’s on the menu? · This is a Research and Development (R&D) Packaging technical role, in the Packaging Technology Platforms Group. This position offers the candidate an excellent opportunity to identify, drive and lead innovative and disruptive packaging technology initiatives (for innovation and sustainability) that will be instrumental in delivering novel, competitively and cost advantaged solutions across the Kraft Heinz portfolio. · The role includes supporting research pathways, demonstrating proof of concept, build processes, technology scale up, and commercialization or transition of technologies to the business unit. · Conduct consumer tests, performance benchmarks, and lifecycle assessments to validate the viability of potential packaging solutions for quality, safety, sustainability, and branding. · This individual must have strong technical skills and be able to link technologies to applications, while demonstrating intellectual curiosity, problem solving, leadership, and project management skills. · Champion packaging sustainability by staying at the forefront of emerging technologies, materials, regulations, and consumer trends to incorporate groundbreaking solutions into project development and strategic planning. · This position requires an individual to manage multiple assignments/ tasks concurrently with the ability to work autonomously, a majority of the time. · Exhibiting a collaborative mindset both internally and with external partners to develop comprehensive packaging sustainability strategies that meet business objectives. Key Components of the role: · Work with internal teams and cross-functional partners to understand opportunities and build solid plans with defined deliverables. · Manage multiple initiatives with complex scopes and/or cross enterprise platforms concurrently. · Execute research plans, including patent/literature reviews, prototyping, lab testing, consumer testing, qualification on pilot and/or production equipment. · Build and coordinate relationships with suppliers and technology partners to drive technology pathways. · Translate research findings into meaningful recommendations, communicating results and driving decisions and technology adoption. · Present to global teams, senior leadership and key stakeholders. · Have a high degree of autonomy. New Hire Base Salary Range: $88,000.00 - $110,000.00 Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents. Requirements
