In this critical innovation role, you'll lead high-impact projects that enhance packaging design across enterprise and renowned brands like Oscar Mayer, Lunchables, Kraft Mac & Cheese, and Kool-Aid. What's on the menu? This is a Research and Development (R&D) Packaging technical role, in the Packaging Technology Platforms Group. This position offers the candidate an excellent opportunity to identify, drive and lead innovative and disruptive packaging technology initiatives (for innovation and sustainability) that will be instrumental in delivering novel, competitively and cost advantaged solutions across the Kraft Heinz portfolio. The role includes supporting research pathways, demonstrating proof of concept, build processes, technology scale up, and commercialization or transition of technologies to the business unit. Conduct consumer tests, performance benchmarks, and lifecycle assessments to validate the viability of potential packaging solutions for quality, safety, sustainability, and branding. This individual must have strong technical skills and be able to link technologies to applications, while demonstrating intellectual curiosity, problem solving, leadership, and project management skills. Champion packaging sustainability by staying at the forefront of emerging technologies, materials, regulations, and consumer trends to incorporate groundbreaking solutions into project development and strategic planning. This position requires an individual to manage multiple assignments/ tasks concurrently with the ability to work autonomously, a majority of the time.
