Sr. SAP Project Manager
About The Position
Abacus Technology is seeking a SAP Project Manager to lead and oversee SAP-related technical initiatives, ensuring successful delivery of complex projects supporting secure and mission-critical environments for the RDT&E Engineering and Technical Support (RETS) program . This is a full-time position. Responsibilities Manage and oversee SAP projects, ensuring alignment with technical, operational, and security requirements. Lead the analysis, assessment, demonstration, testing, and experimentation of SAP technical capabilities. Plan, coordinate, and execute project activities related to SAP system implementations and enhancements. Provide technical leadership in evaluating SAP applications and related technologies. Support the integration of emerging technologies into SAP environments, with a focus on security processes. Conduct technical assessments and capability demonstrations to support decision-making. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and SAP security standards and best practices. Research and recommend new technologies to enhance SAP system performance and security. Develop project plans, schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely execution. Provide guidance and oversight to technical teams supporting SAP initiatives.
Requirements
- 15+ years experience managing SAP projects, including at least 5 years demonstrating technical capabilities.
- 10+ years of experience performing analysis, assessment, demonstration, testing, and/or experimentation of technical capabilities.
- 10+ years of experience supporting SAP technologies and capabilities in similar functions.
- 8+ years of experience researching and integrating technologies that support SAP security processes.
- Demonstrated experience managing SAP-related technology applications.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or physical sciences.
- MBA or master’s degree in a related field required.
- Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI) and SAP eligibility.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

- Military or Department of the Air Force (DoW) experience preferred.
