About The Position
As a Senior SAP Cybersecurity Engineer at Apple, you will play a pivotal role in the Information Systems & Technology team, focusing on three core responsibilities: ERP-Centric Threat Prevention & Detection, Incident Response, and Digital Forensics. This position requires an authoritative level of knowledge in ERP processes and Information Security principles, along with a strong appetite for risk discovery and critical thinking. Your exceptional communication skills will be essential as you navigate complex security issues and collaborate with various teams across the organization. In this role, you will be tasked with identifying, researching, and monitoring notable events within the SAP environment. You will often address complicated events independently or serve as a tier of escalation for more complex issues. Your responsibilities will include researching, documenting, and reporting on security issues and emerging threats, as well as analyzing related software, hardware, and processes to engineer appropriate risk response activities. You will continuously document and share security information with multiple partners, building rapport and garnering support for enhanced security improvements. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with DevOps, Basis, Information Security, Internal Audit, and other teams to manage the risk profile of SAP data at Apple. You will also be responsible for building, testing, implementing, and validating upgrades to security management infrastructure components. Additionally, you will perform various other cybersecurity tasks and responsibilities as assigned, driving innovation by analyzing and interpreting data to test and advise on new initiatives or approaches. You will be accountable for the successful completion of multiple individual projects, ensuring that security measures are effectively integrated into the SAP environment.
