Sr. SAP Basis Administrator

As a Senior SAP Basis Administrator, you will be responsible for the trouble-free operation of the SAP systems' landscape, ensuring that performance is maintained within acceptable, predefined thresholds. This role involves monitoring various systems and their interactions to detect any operational errors that could impact business processes. You will conduct data replication via SAP SLT between S/4HANA and HANA DB, ensure integration connectivity between SAP Cloud Platform Integration and backend systems, and complete batch job processes triggered from Active Batch Scheduler (ABS) to all SAP connected systems. Additionally, you will check for errors within the different SAP systems by reviewing system logs, system dumps, and failed communications. You will also conduct weekly reviews with SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) to address any detected system vulnerabilities by coordinating the patching or upgrading of servers' operating systems, databases, and applications. Your responsibilities will include configuring new system functionalities, ensuring compliance with IT SOX controls, and configuring cross-system integrations. You will be expected to identify process improvement opportunities within the team and CF IT in general, provide on-call support outside business hours, and diagnose and troubleshoot system errors while performing root cause analysis to implement long-term solutions. In this role, you will apply your in-depth knowledge of SAP ABAP based systems, including parameter configuration and transaction codes, as well as your expertise in the SAP Business Technology Platform. You will plan and coordinate new implementations based on requirements and maintain your skills with the evolving SAP landscape. This position requires a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, along with 10 years of relevant experience.
