About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Salesforce Architect to lead the design, optimization, and governance of our Salesforce platform. This role will provide strategic and hands-on architectural guidance, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong stakeholder communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a part-time capacity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including architecture and solution design
- Strong expertise in Salesforce configuration, customization, and platform limits
- Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL tools)
- Must be able to work on internal and external portals and user provisioning modules
- Solid understanding of data architecture, sharing models, and security frameworks
- Proven ability to lead technical decisions and influence cross-functional teams
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, or System Architect needed
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience working in part-time, consulting, or multi-client environments
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Git-based CI/CD pipelines)
- Experience with large-scale orgs, complex data models, or multi-cloud implementations
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee Salesforce architecture across clouds (e.g., Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, or custom solutions)
- Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions and technical designs
- Define and enforce best practices for data modeling, security, integrations, and automation
- Review and guide development work (admins, developers, and partners) to ensure architectural integrity
- Lead system optimization, technical debt reduction, and performance improvements
- Design and review integrations with third-party systems using APIs, middleware, and data sync tools
- Support release planning, multiple environment strategy (lower, staging, pre-prod, prod etc.) , and deployment processes
- Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and regulatory standards
- Provide architectural documentation, diagrams, and technical roadmaps
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and technical stakeholders
