About the position

As a Senior Sales Support Representative, you will hold a senior administrative position within a sales team which is responsible for generating new business while managing and growing the activity of existing customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer orders by maintaining order trackers (obtaining product ETAs, tracking orders with carriers, inventory status in ePlus warehouses), providing proactive updates to ePlus customers and personnel, ensuring shipped orders are invoiced promptly, assisting with order logistics
  • Generate and manage customer specific reports as well as standard reports for the sales team.
  • Manage regular customer updates at the direction of the sales team.
  • Assist customers with Returns, order inquiries, and any other requests for information.
  • Proactive problem resolution at the customer and supplier levels.
  • Learn about the programs available at our major vendor suppliers in order to source product at the best price to ePlus.
  • Assist with quoting and offer upsell opportunities to our customers such as warranty uplifts, service agreements, accessories, or supplies.
  • Accurately place orders into the system from customer-issued Purchase Orders.
  • Develop successful relationships with sales, other internal ePlus departments, vendors, and customers.
  • Use proper decorum in all communications with customers, vendors, and internal personnel to portray a positive image of ePlus and strengthen relationships.
  • Assist with appointment setting and registering customers for ePlus events.
  • Administrative responsibilities include updating CRM and tracking Marketing Development Funds and Return on Investment.
  • Projects and additional responsibilities as needed or assigned

Requirements

  • 4 year degree is preferred
  • 3+ years of sales or customer service experience
  • Knowledge of computers/networking and the IT industry as a whole
  • Excellent communication/phone skills is a must
  • Ability to prioritize and multi task is a must
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office suite of products is a must
