The Sr Sales Strategy and Operations Manager will play a crucial role in the Sales Operations and Digital Analytics (SODA) team at Amazon Ads. This position focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and supporting sales teams by designing and coordinating sales workflows globally. The manager will leverage strong analytical skills to influence sales strategies and ensure that the sales organization has the necessary information to operate effectively. The role requires a balance of leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to navigate complex challenges and drive results.

  • Lead projects designed to improve operational and process efficiency, including data analysis and collaboration with partner teams.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination to deliver results based on predefined timelines, managing interdependencies and potential risks.
  • Support teams in investigating and resolving complex problems and escalations related to data impacting Sales.
  • Analyze existing process gaps and develop scalable solutions to address them.
  • Gather and document business requirements from customers, propose solutions, and prioritize features with Product teams.
  • Make complex decisions using high-level judgment and escalate to leadership when necessary.
  • Project-manage multiple workflows and communicate complex analytical results clearly to stakeholders.
  • Identify reporting issues and gaps in processes, driving timely resolutions.
  • 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, and Salesforce automation
  • Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies or equivalent
  • Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership
