About The Position

REI Co-op is dedicated to fostering a love for the outdoors and building a better way of working. The Sr. Store Sales Specialist serves as the face of the Co-op, engaging daily with REI Members and Customers. This role involves being a comprehensive source of knowledge on all products, equipment, assortments, and services. The specialist's initiative and productivity will help guide Retail Sales Specialists. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about the outdoors and living the REI values. Success in this role involves participating in REI Sales and Service Training to drive sales, preparing the store by stocking and handling merchandise, adjusting visual presentations based on inventory, new products, and promotions, and monitoring inventory and price accuracy. The role also includes training and mentoring new staff and partnering with Department Managers to achieve daily goals and expectations. Responsibilities

  • Engage in REI Sales and Service Training to drive sales
