About The Position

The Senior Sales Account Specialist will support the Director, Target in managing BISSELL’s strategic partnership with Target. This role is designed for a high-potential sales professional who wants exposure to national account management, retail strategy and omnichannel execution. This individual will help drive revenue growth, market share expansion and flawless in-store and digital execution across BISSELL categories. The role requires strong analytical skills, ability to drives insights from data to support sales recommendation (both category & BISSELL), cross-functional coordination and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Degree minimum: Four year degree
  • 3+ years of experience in sales (ideally CPG or durable goods), analytics and/or category management
  • Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills (pivot tables, data analysis, presentation development)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving mindset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with syndicated data (Circana/Nielsen) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales Director in day-to-day management of the Target account
  • Lead item setup, assortment updates and product launches
  • Lead the execution of promotional plans with Target across in-store and digital
  • Assist in development and execution of Joint Business Plan (JBP)
  • Analyze POS, inventory and syndicated data (Circana/Nielsen) to identify risks and opportunities
  • Develop weekly/monthly business reviews and scorecards
  • Monitor market share, pricing, competitive activity and promotional effectiveness
  • Track forecast vs actual performance (both shipment and POS) and identify root causes of variance
  • Utilize syndicated data & planograms to prepare recommendations/optimizations on shelf placement, assortment strategy and secondary displays
  • Process and track advertising claims through internal BISSELL BluePlanner system while maintaining records of corresponding credit memos. Clear outstanding claims in an efficient and appropriate manner.
  • Partner with supply chain to manage inventory flow, forecast accuracy and in-stock levels
  • Work with media/marketing on media campaigns, content and digital activation plans
  • Participate/lead monthly business reviews with category marketing leads
  • Assist in line reviews, assortment presentations and merchant meetings
  • Prepare sell-in materials and performance recaps
  • Partner with cross-functional team on execution of new product launches at Target
  • Support the team in ensuring content accuracy and digital shelf presence on Target.com
  • Process and track advertising claims through internal BISSELL BluePlanner system while maintaining records of corresponding credit memos. Clear outstanding claims in an efficient and appropriate manner.
