Requirements

Minimum five (5) years of experience in the hospital or physician insurance industry.
Strong understanding of the revenue cycle and underpaid accounts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Exceptional customer service skills and professional presence.
Ability to adapt to various client host systems.
Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Communicate directly with payors to resolve outstanding underpayments and ensure timely recovery.
Identify root causes of underpayments and collaborate on addressing them with the client team.
Maintain knowledge of state and federal insurance regulations and apply them to resolve issues.
Document all actions in the appropriate tracking systems accurately.
Provide feedback on trends and issues to management based on data analysis.
Analyze remittance data for billing opportunities and revenue optimization.
Collaborate with other departments to enhance operational efficiency.
