We're looking for a Sr Retirement Education Specialist (Bilingual in Spanish) to join our Miami, FL team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, dedicated to one of our amazing Miami based clients. This is a large client that has locations all over the country so there will be travel, within Florida and across the country, but they are headquartered and most of their employees are in Miami. Key Responsibilities: Promote, educate, and share information regarding participant experience and our education solutions with field sales and service, advisors, and plan sponsors. Offer advisory services to large dynamic and small institutional plans on guideline education strategies grounded in participant market research and client-specific demographics. Serve as an advocate within the Education COE. Work closely with Service and Sales teams. Focus on benefit event and TRS clients/participants such as Non-Qualified, DB, ESOP, and DC. Lead group presentations and individual meetings that assist retirement plan participants in making informed choices about their retirement savings across TRS business lines and options at benefit events. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 8 years of experience.
  • 4+ years of experience or more in the financial services industry with experience in personal markets, retirement planning, and educating participants.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time with your own transportation, mostly day travel but there will be overnight travel, as well.
  • Bilingual in Spanish, is required.
  • Licensing requirements: Licensing will be required based on state/federal laws and/or company policy in accordance with current licensing policy. The below licenses are required within 5 months of employment; however a licensed individual is preferred: Successful Registration as an Investment Company Products/Variable contracts Limited Representative (FINRA Series 6 or equivalent and FINRA Series 63).

  • Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
