About The Position
The ideal candidate for the Senior Resource Analyst position is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in water resource planning, demand forecasting, and policy development. They possess a deep understanding of advanced statistical, econometric, and geographic modeling techniques, coupled with expertise in integrating variables such as land use, climate, demographics, and economic trends to forecast water demand and conservation patterns at regional and service-area levels. This candidate demonstrates exceptional leadership in managing complex projects and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across departments and agencies. They have a proven track record of developing high-quality research and analytical data to support long-term resource planning, sustainability initiatives, and infrastructure development. Their ability to collaborate effectively ensures alignment with the goals of the District, SNWA, and other regional stakeholders. The candidate has substantial experience working with legal and regulatory frameworks governing water resource allocation, including familiarity with the Law of the River, SNWA agreements, interstate water banking policies, and Colorado River management strategies. They excel in translating complex data and analyses into actionable insights and policy recommendations, delivering clear and impactful presentations to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
