About The Position

Requirements

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering OR MS + 5 years of related experience OR BS + 8 years.
  • 5+ years in design and/or operation & maintenance of electrical/power generation equipment such as generators, transformers, switchgear, wind turbines, solar PV units, and battery energy storage.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines.
  • Experience in engineering or research in electrical engineering that commands industry recognition or leads to publication in peer-reviewed journals is a plus.

  • Exposure to power electronics, electrical system studies, and modeling.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Superior written and communication skills for report writing and conveying technical concepts to clients.
  • Demonstrated project management skills including technical, financial, and personnel management.
  • State-of-the-art knowledge in electrical engineering with experience in analysis and experimental techniques.
  • Familiarity with office tools for business and technical communication.

Responsibilities

  • Develop engineering solutions, evaluate new technologies, and advance scientific knowledge in electrical engineering.
  • Serve as a technical communicator between the company, its customers, and external organizations.
  • Develop and market proposals for research development supported by internal and external sources.
  • Progressively develop competence in various engineering or scientific techniques to meet company objectives.
  • Keep the Team Leader/Area Manager informed of project status and progress, addressing any significant matters affecting objectives.
