About The Position
Immuneering is a clinical-stage oncology company outpacing cancer to help patients outlive their disease. Our lead product candidate, atebimetinib (IMM-1-104), is currently in a Phase 2a trial in patients with advanced solid tumors including pancreatic cancer. Immuneering’s R&D team is based in a ~38,000 square foot lab and office facility in San Diego. The company also has offices in New York City and Cambridge, MA. Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in a scientific discipline, with 3+ years (B.S.) or 1+ years (M.S.) related laboratory experience.
- Comfortable using computers, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, e-mail, and internet.
- Able to work within a Quality System with oversight by QA and other regulatory bodies. Experience working in a regulated environment a plus.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multi-task with a high degree of professionalism and diplomacy.
- Detail-oriented individual with above-average communication skills, both written and verbal.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in cell culture techniques and general molecular/cell biology skills
- Background in cancer biology and/or molecular cell biology required
- Effectively troubleshoot to solve scientific problems with limited supervision
- Willing and able to work under the pressure of deadlines and find solutions to meet timelines
Responsibilities
- Independently perform cell cancer research lab activities, including tissue culture, bio-banking, molecular and cell-based assays, imaging and other state-of-the-art biology techniques in oncology.
- Contribute to project development process within scientific discipline.
- Work independently with limited supervision.
- Have open communication, positive interpersonal and teamwork skills, and timely, accurate maintenance of written reports.
- Analyze data and interpret experimental results.
- Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses.
- Adherence to Quality System protocols and policies.
