Conducts advanced statistical analyses of qualitative and quantitative data and interprets results; participates in study design; writes research proposals, grants and manuscripts; and, works to broaden research within the associated program or department. The Senior Research Analyst is part of an exciting group of scientists working to develop new drugs for neurological diseases. We are looking for an independently motivated and team-oriented scientist to perform the following duties.   • Serve as project lead for ongoing contractual and academic research studies (including study organization, team coordination, and data reporting).
  • Compile data from a variety of sources and assemble into MS Office summaries, spreadsheets, and reports.
  • Maintain files and records of research data, and complete quality control (QC) of collected laboratory data for database entry and summary reporting.
  • Assist in writing and editing of manuscripts, grants, project reports, and other materials.
  • Maintain standard operating procedure ( SOP ) documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); plus four years related research experience, and demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required.

  • A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
