We are seeking an experienced Release Engineer to join our IT Software Development team. In this role, you will coordinate Release Management activities and work closely with both the Infrastructure and Software Development teams. You will ensure timely and high-quality software releases by overseeing development, testing, version control, and release reporting. Additionally, you will contribute to infrastructure automation and application deployment through hands-on design, coding, and testing.

  • Coordinate release activities, including deployment plan execution and checklist validation.
  • Plan and perform dependency analysis for both major and maintenance release cycles.
  • Identify risks, cross-application dependencies, and downstream impacts for each release.
  • Establish, maintain, and communicate the master release schedule.
  • Implement efficient procedures for distributing and deploying IT changes to production.
  • Design, code, and test infrastructure automation and application deployment solutions.
  • Collaborate with Information Security and Systems teams to strengthen CI/CD pipelines with DevSecOps practices, security tools, and standardized controls.
  • Analyze DevOps practices, identify gaps, and recommend improvements for continuous integration and delivery.
  • Monitor release scope and schedules, provide release status updates and implementation scorecards.
  • Consolidate and publish Release Notes for each deployment.
  • Ensure compliance with IT processes, including documentation, peer reviews, and required approvals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Release Management.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical proficiency with SQL, Visual Studio, .NET (C#) and build process tools such as GIT.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
  • 1-2 years of practical experience with at least two modern DevOps/IaC technologies (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet, CloudFormation, Terraform).
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage details effectively.
  • Familiarity with Jira or equivalent task and release management tools.
