The Sr. Regional Operations Manager (ROM) is responsible to execute regional product, program and pilot strategies to drive HCA asset growth across retail, lease, CPO, CVF, commercial and insurance in alignment with OEM Regions. In addition, this role requires collaborating and mentoring of the assigned region Business Development Managers (BDM). Driving is an essential function of this position.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years’ progressive experience in field sales within the automotive finance industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven history with Dealer conversion and successful sales track record.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in order to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross functionally including the OEM to leverage HCA’s products and services for mutual growth and success.
  • Excellent sales presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities
  • Proactive, organized and handle work under stressful and uncertain environments.
  • Strong understanding of company products and services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive.
  • Dynamic and motivating with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and deadlines.
  • Employee must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Job requires daily driving and the capacity to travel long distances including across assigned regions, meetings, and events.
  • Some overnight travel may be required depending upon business needs.
  • Must be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

  • Manage regional commercial portfolio including the execution of proposals, acquisitions, and retention strategies.
  • Oversee construction, RE, and working capital loans to assist with facility improvements and dealer needs.
  • Maintain OEM alignment at regional level for buy/sell and termination activity.
  • Tack and update commercial pipeline.
  • Assist with pricing exception processing.
  • Develop and execute regional products, programs and pilot strategies that drive asset growth across retail, lease, CPO, CVF, commercial and insurance.
  • Analyze reporting results to forecast, track and measure regional performance.
  • Quarterback dealer servicing issues among departments.
  • Oversee open markets awaiting backfills of field sales personnel.
  • Drive dealer engagement and satisfaction via NADA, JD Power, and internal surveys.
  • Assist Regional Sales Director by assessing, coordinating and executing sales activities and development of the field sales team within assigned region.
  • Identify and lead field sales training needs and activities by assisting Business Development Managers (BDM’s) in product sales and F&I sales training.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding for field sales.
  • Manage alignment with OEM counterparts and initiatives.
  • Maintain presence and support in OEM meetings and functions (HDAA, Org and leadership meetings, all-dealer calls, charitable events, etc.
  • Coordinate joint collaboration among HCA, HCI, and HMA.
