About The Position

The Regional Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager is responsible for deploying Lean Manufacturing concepts and principles and Kaizen methodology across multiple plants within a region. This role involves teaching and developing the skills of plant CI Managers and team members, supporting the development of Annual Plans, conducting follow-up calls, and assisting in various improvement activities. The position requires significant travel, up to 75%, including potential international travel.

Requirements

  • Requires 10 years of experience.
  • BS/BA preferred.
  • Requires limited supervision.
  • Able to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead change and teach others.
  • In-depth knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and principles.
  • Ability to facilitate Kaizen Events, Kaizen College, and Fresh Eyes Activities.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy Lean Manufacturing concepts and principles and Kaizen methodology in multiple plants within a region.
  • Support deployment of Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen Methodology in all plants as required.
  • Teach and develop skills of plant CI Managers and other team members.
  • Help plants develop Annual Plans using Kaizen Methodology.
  • Conduct monthly follow-up calls to ensure plants meet their Annual Plans.
  • Assist in scheduling Fresh Eyes activities, Line Balancing improvements, and Standardized Work methodologies.
  • Support pre-launch and post-launch Kaizen activity for new products.
  • Provide plant support for underperforming plants.
  • Administer CBB Production System audit confirmations.
  • Ensure standardized deployment of corporate CBB Production System concepts in each plant.
