We are a group of real estate legal professionals on the lookout for a talented Senior Paralegal to join us in building new McDonald’s restaurants to feed and foster communities across the U.S. If you're experienced in commercial real estate and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and work independently, this is your opportunity to unleash your creativity, tackle complex legal issues and make an impact to shape McDonald’s future.
Responsibilities
- Independently support our business clients to take on complex due diligence and construction issues
- Resolve title issues and collaborate with title companies to obtain adequate title insurance coverage
- Analyze contracts, leases, easements, restrictive covenants, declarations, and other legal documents
- Prepare and negotiate real estate documents such as declarations, easements, SNDAs, License Agreements, Closing Escrow Agreements, restrictive covenants, non-disturbance agreements
- Manage purchase and lease transactions by gathering transactional documents, coordinating closings and overseeing recording of documents
- Mentor and train Paralegals and other real estate legal professionals to support their growth and development
- Think strategically to anticipate future business needs and identify existing opportunities
Requirements
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent education
- 3+ years of experience as commercial real estate paralegal, preferably in a law firm or in-house legal department setting
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to handle multiple competing priorities
- Collaborative team spirit, strong work ethic, and unwavering reliability
