Job Summary The Senior Radiologic Technologist (x-ray technologist or radiographer) is responsible for providing patient care and technical expertise in the operation of all x-ray equipment for diagnostic imaging purposes. The Senior Radiologic Technologist mentors and provides oversight of the area in the absence of supervisor.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program
  • Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (Licensed by Texas Medical Board)
  • Certified Rad Tech Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
  • Basic Life Support Current CPR certification from a hospital- based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program
  • Two (2) years experience as Radiologic Technologist
  • Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking), Writing/Composing, Writing/Reports
  • Analytical abilities
  • Medical Terminology Knowledge
  • Flexible Work Schedule
  • Ionizing Radiation equipment, image processing equipment, and other related clinical equipment.
