General Mills is seeking a Statistical Data Scientist to join the Data Science & Modeling team within the Innovation, Technology, and Quality (ITQ) function. The ITQ function is the center of science innovation, product development, and quality activities for the company. In this role, you will be a key player on a team that is solving business problems in product development, consumer testing, nutrition research, and product quality within a data-rich science and engineering environment. You will have the opportunity to blend statistics, mathematics, modeling, and technology to transform data into actionable insights that drive business results. We are looking for an exceptional statistical scientist who is passionate about engaging with our business partners and providing actionable, data-driven insights for decision making. This individual should also have a passion for teaching, and will serve as a trainer and coach for other statisticians across our global team. You will join a successful, multi-talented, functional analytics team and collaborate with partners inside and outside General Mills to further the growth and impact of data science on our business. A successful candidate will have the right blend of technical skills, business acumen, influential storytelling, and collaborative spirit.
