About The Position

You will be the Sr. Quality Engineer, Advanced Programs for the Advanced Programs Special Programs team. Our team is responsible for delivering advanced program solutions with uncompromising quality. What You Will Be Doing As the Sr. Quality Engineer, Advanced Programs you will be a part of shaping and safeguarding the quality of our products and processes in a dynamic development environment. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in related discipline, with 5 years or more of professional experience, 4 years professional experience with a related Master's degree, or equivalent combined education/experience
Must have an active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
Knowledge of manufacturing/quality processes and documentation
Experience developing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts
Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming material

Nice To Haves

Root Cause & corrective action implementation experience including Failure Review Board chair or co-chair
Experience working with multiple levels of Government customers and stakeholders
Experience with MRA/Readiness Reviews
Experience solving complex problems associated with the quality of products
Effective communication skills including written, oral and listening and technical writing
Demonstrated presentation skills
A strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Thorough understanding in AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment with strong skills in AS9100 certification and compliance requirements
Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt)
Ability to travel
