What You’ll Do Perform quality control activities to ensure products meet internal standards and regulatory requirements, including FDA and BRC compliance. Conduct in-line checks, environmental swabbing, allergen cleaning verifications, calibrations, and routine facility inspections. Identify, escalate, and support investigations of non-conformances, including root cause analysis and corrective actions. Maintain accurate quality records and support audits, CAPA execution, and continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor sanitation, pest control, food defense, and chemical controls, partnering closely with Production and plant leadership. Serve as a key member of the Food Safety/HACCP team and support training and quality knowledge across operations.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience in food, beverage, or dietary supplement manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of GMPs, SOPs, HACCP principles, and quality documentation requirements.
  • Ability to work independently, advocate for quality standards, and escalate concerns when needed.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and related quality systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent required.
