About The Position
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer in the Aftermarket division at Parker Hannifin, you will play a crucial role in providing Quality Engineering support to the Parker Hydraulic Systems Division's FAA Repair Station and Aftermarket Product Support Team. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of all applicable company and U.S. Government regulations, policies, and procedures, particularly the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) for PART 145. Your primary focus will be on ensuring product conformance and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for dispositioning nonconforming conditions and major deviations, contributing to test stand and product validation efforts, and effectively communicating with both internal and external customers. Collaboration with the Repair Station Quality team will be essential to assess the effectiveness of the Repair Station Quality Manual, Repair Station Training Manual, and the AS9100 quality system. You will also participate in and occasionally lead customer and regulatory audits, ensuring compliance with customer, Airworthiness Authority, and Military standards. As a liaison between the Repair Station and Product Support Team, you will work closely with Part 145 and OEM Engineering and Product Integrity Teams to lead investigations and support Root Cause Correction Action (RCCA) for customer-reported nonconformances. Additionally, you will earn credentials and perform duties associated with the certification of new and return-to-service products, including FAA Repairman and Parker ODA certifications. Your involvement in LEAN Kaizen Activities will focus on eliminating waste, improving productivity, and achieving sustained continual improvement within the organization.
