Youth & Family Services (YFS) is currently seeking a Senior Quality and Training Specialist within the Division’s Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) team. The incumbent is mainly responsible for reviewing products to ensure quality, preparing reports, and keeping records on employee and department performance, providing highly technical training to employees. This position collaborates with NC Department of Health and Human Services, YFS Policy and Practice Model team as well as the YFS Training team to ensure equitable and quality processes meet operational standards to enhance service delivery and mitigate safety and risk. The incumbent will be part of the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) team which provides support to the Youth & Family Services (YFS) Division in areas such as quality sampling of cases for all services areas within YFS, review and preparation of reports in cases involving child fatalities as well as high profile media cases in Mecklenburg County that have any CFAS/YFS history. As a result of the team’s expertise on related policies and procedures, the team also collaborates extensively with internal staff, State and Federal partners in regard to sensitive information and various projects. This position will be located at the County Courts Office Building (CCOB) 720 E 4th St, Charlotte, NC 28202. The work hours for this position are 8:00am – 5:00pm.
