As a Sr. QA Automation Engineer, you will develop and maintain automation solutions & code base, with contributions towards planning, design, scripting, and execution, debugging and reporting tasks using Nunit, C#, Javascript, Selenium, SQL & ReportPortal. You will perform React UI and API Test Automation and have familiarity with UI Testing Frameworks such as JEST, BDD using frameworks such as cucumber, and TesOps principles. You will also monitor and execute automation test activities for large sized projects, coordinate various test-related activities for project delivery, and craft custom solutions to facilitate deep coverage of regression/smoke/patch validation needs.

  • Develop and maintain automation solutions & code base.
  • Perform React UI and API Test Automation.
  • Familiarity with UI Testing Framework such as JEST.
  • Familiarity with BDD using frameworks such as cucumber.
  • Familiarity with TesOps principles, practices & frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Mock frameworks such as Mockito.
  • Commit code changes to Git & Github.
  • Monitor and execute automation test activities for large sized projects.
  • Coordinate various test-related activities for project delivery.
  • Craft custom solutions for regression/smoke/patch validation needs.
  • Design, plan and execute application and system testing strategies.
  • Develop and monitor test metrics and provide timely communication to stakeholders.
  • Work with Technical and Business community to define the scope of testing required.
  • Collaborate with Development Team, Release Engineers, Product, and Program Managers.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, an Associate's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent education in a related discipline.
  • 6 to 8 years of related work experience in application development.
  • QA experience in Automated testing of web/windows applications.
  • Heavy exposure to industry leading automation tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge/experience in U.S. Banking/banking applications is helpful.
  • Ability to understand and create detail test scripts from design documents.
  • Ability to analyze and report defects or program variances from Regression executions.
  • Ability to drive conversations regarding automation needs.
  • Participate in automation code reviews and provide quality-driven feedback.
  • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with engineers to design and implement effective test strategies.
  • Tools: Jenkins, Selenium, Postman, Jira, CICD, Git, Swagger.
  • Mandatory Programming and Scripting languages: .NET languages (VB / C#), SQL, Selenium, VBScript.
  • Extensive knowledge of information systems elements (hardware, software, network) and their application to business functions/processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast paced agile methodologies.
