As a Senior QA Engineer on the Payments Team, you'll safeguard the quality of our end-to-end payments platform—central to all Tesla products and services. Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to define testing strategies, deploy cutting-edge automation, and innovate with LLMs to maximize coverage and efficiency. You'll focus on backend services, APIs, and standalone payment components for iOS, Android, and web, maintaining 99.99%+ uptime in a high-stakes environment. Design, develop, and execute automated tests for system integration, functional, regression, and API validation, pushing boundaries in automation to support Tesla's sustainability mission Build and maintain automation frameworks for web, mobile (iOS/Android), and backend applications using tools like Python, Selenium, Appium, and PyTest Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) for seamless regression and deployment testing Leverage LLMs to generate intelligent test cases, enhance scripts, and expand coverage in complex, high-volume scenarios, tackling edge cases in mission-critical environments Analyze results, report defects, and collaborate on resolutions to drive quality improvements Participate in agile processes, code reviews, and troubleshooting to ensure testability and reliability Stay ahead of QA innovations, implementing emerging tools to optimize processes, with a focus on AI-driven advancements
