Role Overview: The Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for designing and developing test strategies, fixtures, and processes to validate KiaConnect Service and CCS platform, ensuring high-quality deliverables through collaboration with product teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience: 7–10 years in IT or QA roles, with 4+ years in telematics, telecom, or automotive industry.
QA Expertise: Deep understanding of QA methodologies, tools, processes, and Agile/Scrum frameworks.
Technical Skills: Experience with automated test suites, Web, API, and Mobile application testing; proficiency with QA tools and technologies.
Leadership & Communication: Ability to influence development teams, drive innovation, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Industry Knowledge: Awareness of current QA trends and advancements; ability to streamline testing processes and contribute to company-wide QA policies.

Nice To Haves

PMP / Certification in Project Management preferred.

Responsibilities

Design test strategies, plans, and cases from requirements and specifications for connected car telematics platforms.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and smoke tests; report and track defects and metrics to identify trends and systemic issues.
Collaborate in Agile ceremonies, review UI for consistency, and participate in system design sessions to ensure testability.
Analyze production issues, troubleshoot, and provide recommendations for improvement; manage ticketing and vendor follow-up.
Drive innovation by improving testing tools, processes, and strategies for efficiency and effectiveness.
