Requirements

Python Expertise: 5+ years of advanced Python development with a deep understanding of asyncio, multiprocessing, and performance optimization
Network Security: Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, etc.) and common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, CVE analysis)
Framework Development: Experience building large-scale, modular Python frameworks or libraries
AI Development Tools: Proficiency with modern AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot)
Mentoring Experience: Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior developers
Technical Leadership: Experience leading technical projects and making architectural decisions
Documentation: Strong technical writing skills for API documentation and architectural design documents

Open-Source Contributions: Active contributions to security or Python open-source projects
Research Background: Experience in security research or academic cybersecurity work
Database Systems: Experience with databases for large-scale data processing
Machine Learning: Knowledge of leveraging AI/ML to develop automation techniques

Responsibilities

Framework Development & Architecture Participate in the design and development of automated network penetration testing frameworks using Python
Assist with architecting scalable, modular systems that can adapt to evolving security landscapes
Implement advanced networking analyses tools and automated exploit chains
Integrate AI/ML capabilities into testing frameworks for enhanced threat detection and analysis
Technical Leadership & Mentoring Mentor junior and mid-level developers on Python best practices, security concepts, and framework design
Conduct code reviews and establish development standards across the engineering team
Assist with technical decision-making for framework architecture and technology stack choices
Guide team members in adopting AI-assisted development workflows
AI-Powered Development Leverage AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.) to accelerate development cycles
Implement AI-driven features within the penetration testing framework
Train team members on effective AI tool utilization for software development
Stay current with emerging AI development tools and methodologies
Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with security researchers to translate manual testing techniques into automated frameworks
Work closely with product management to define framework requirements and roadmaps
Partner with DevOps teams to ensure robust CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
