About The Position

Adventist Health Glendale is looking for Sr. Provider Services Contract Analyst. We are looking for great individual who can work onsite to our location in Glendale, CA Nestled between Burbank and Pasadena, Adventist Health Glendale is one of the area's leading healthcare providers. We are comprised of a 515-bed hospital, two urgent cares, home care services, comprehensive cardiology care and a vast scope of services located in the San Fernando Valley. Job Summary: Develops and maintains a contracting system including cataloging, standardizing, measuring performance and ensuring regulatory compliance. Interfaces with executive management and acts in an advisory capacity regarding contractual and compliance requirements, client specifications, government regulations and auditing associated with physician compensation, practice acquisitions and contractual obligations. Serves as a point of contact with internal and external parties in relation to provider contract management, compliance and issues.

Requirements

  • Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Five years’ healthcare experience: Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supports the database for all existing agreements and provides communication for all changes with financial and/or budgetary impact to all appropriate internal/external stakeholders. Works on problems of moderate to diverse scope requiring some interpretation of policies and guidelines.
  • Ensures support and education is provided to management regarding new and renewed contracts. Applies working knowledge of techniques, principles, theories and concepts of the discipline, staff, technologies, services and practices to complete routine/non-routine assignments.
  • Provides communication to appropriate stakeholders regarding contract updates/renewals. Verifies contract development is consistent with operational capabilities. Monitors contract compliance and takes initiative to correct problem areas.
  • Takes appropriate actions to facilitate the timely flow of contract documents through the approval process and ensures all appropriate approvals are obtained. Solves and escalates operational problems and technical issues; modifies existing tools or processes.
  • Prepares, tracks, collects, re-papers, credentials, and audits provider contractual agreements during primary care, specialty, ancillary and hospital recruitment projects. Conducts site visits to collect contracts, credentialing information or address contractual issues.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
