Role Overview The Sr Proposal Manager – Defense Engines is responsible for leading the end-to-end proposal development process for complex opportunities, from RFP release through post-submission, including deals requiring D&S CEO and GE Aerospace-level approvals. In this role, you will assess customer requirements, evaluate commercial risk, shape deal strategy, and support the deal team through negotiation and customer decision. You will leverage a blend of project management skills, technical acumen, contractual and financial awareness, and program management proficiency to ensure proposals are compliant, competitive, and aligned with both customer objectives and business goals. The role is critical for securing new business, protecting existing positions, and supporting continuous improvement across proposal processes and KPIs, including the effective use of FLIGHT DECK tools and fundamentals.
