Job Description: The Strategic Deals & Vendor Management (SDVM) Senior Project/Vendor Manager will be responsible for the following: Manages and oversees vendor operational governance working with the business units to provide support with Service Performance Management, Transition & Project Management, Demand & Forecast Management, Change Control Management, Issue & Dispute Management, Knowledge Management, Compliance Management. Focus is on service level performance, escalations, risk compliance, and adherence to internal, regulatory, and client requirements. Actively engages with multiple levels within the organization from Sr Leadership to front line staff to provide updates, and influence key decisions. Mentors/trains junior members, and monitors progress. Oversee projects for SDVM and/or act as a liaison/strategic partner between business verticals and service providers. Projects range from management of teams, oversight of small/medium scale projects, to ownership of medium/large scale projects. Coordinate activities/implementations with other projects, work groups, and management at all levels. Responsible for project planning, status updates, risk management and bringing projects to a successful conclusion. Projects and assignments are complex in scope and typically cross functional lines.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years directed related progressive work experience, preferably in operations, vendor management, or project management role; 2+ years in leadership role preferred
  • Strong ability to work effectively across functions, business units, cultures, and time-zones.
  • A sense of urgency and pace, managing milestones with the capacity to prioritize/align conflicting demands
  • Solid organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Self-directed and results-oriented; strong bias for execution
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills; ability to apply logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable navigating through ambiguity
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
