The Project Sourcing Manager plays a crucial role in executing sourcing requests aligned with business strategies and priorities. This position involves collaborating with Business Partners to translate requirements into supplier deliverables, ensuring a robust evaluation and selection process, and supporting end-to-end value delivery through effective sourcing strategies. The role also requires close collaboration with legal and contracting functions to manage procurement documentation and agreements. The Project Sourcing Manager is expected to deliver consistent business value through operational efficiencies and optimal supplier performance, while also supporting Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives related to suppliers.

  • Create all primary product development deliverables and obtain sign off for all Direct Procurement milestones in the Product Development Process.
  • Maintain strong information flows back to the Category Management teams for high-value or non-standard requests.
  • Drive a fit-for-purpose sourcing process (RfIs, RfQs, RfPs) for sourcing activities.
  • Collaborate with relevant business support functions to drive operational efficiencies.
  • Monitor contracts and defined targets, ensuring both parties meet obligations.
  • Proactively identify and report risks to overall targets or timelines.
  • Support CSR initiatives related to suppliers.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Engineering, or a business-related field.
  • Business level fluency in English.
  • Expert negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • 10+ years of procurement experience, particularly in medical device and/or software development.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze complex data sets.
  • Mastery of complex end-to-end sourcing events.
  • Strong skills in Project Management methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of systems for efficient management of contract documentation.
  • Postgraduate business-related qualification.
  • Documented international and diverse Strategic Sourcing or Project Management experience.
  • Experience in operational excellence or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Professional purchasing or finance-related licenses or certifications.
  • Experience with enterprise systems and procure-to-pay tools.
  • Competence or fluency in other region-specific languages.
