Based upon our business growth, we have an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager within Projects Organization. As a member of the Primetals Technologies Project Management Team, you will manage various projects that will contribute to the delivering of project excellence.

Requirements

  • 6+ years’ experience in technical execution of projects for Metal heavy industry
  • Understanding of job financial reports and the ability to apply these in managing assigned projects
  • Organized, methodical, consistent in the application of the project management methodology, best practice and tools
  • Construction / site management experience of large Turnkey projects
  • Achieved a degree in Engineering
  • Self-starter with experience in meeting project deliverables, working in a matrix team environment
  • PMP certification

Responsibilities

  • Managing large, complex turnkey jobs or multiple projects from pre-booking to customer acceptance for OEMs serving the Metal heavy industry (e.g. Iron Making, Steel Making, Casting, Hot Rolling, Cold Rolling, Processing lines)
  • Managing the development of project plans in advance of project activity, assuring effective execution by the Project Team and monitoring the project’s progress to assure compliance with the pre-determined execution plan
  • Supervising and directing the project team during planning, estimating, design, installation, start up, commissioning, turnover and warranty of assigned projects, capable to engage, motivate and keep high the morale of the team, make efficient use of the assigned resources
  • Contractual analysis, risk assessment and contract management
  • Effective communication and meeting management, conflict resolution
  • Knowledge of fundamental project control principles, e.g. accounted and committed costs, earned value, cash flow
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project and upon project completion
