Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 - 10 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of construction practices, techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and inspection processes.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
  • OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly understand project plans, specifications, and contracts.
  • Lead preconstruction activities, including subcontractor qualification, bidding, and scope reviews.
  • Write and manage subcontractor scopes of work.
  • Oversee scheduling, procurement, RFIs, and submittals using Procore and related tools.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to promote open communication and successful outcomes.
  • Work closely with Preconstruction, Field Operations, and Project Engineering teams.
  • Support project teams with planning, problem-solving, and proactive communication.
  • Participate in and facilitate project meetings, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up.
  • Track project progress and budgets to identify and address challenges early.
  • Share insights and lessons learned to strengthen our project delivery across the organization.
