Seneca Resources is seeking a Senior IT Project/Program Manager to lead enterprise-level technology initiatives and ensure consistent project governance, compliance, and delivery excellence. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in project management methodologies, SDLC oversight, and PMO standards development, with a proven track record managing complex, high-value programs (>$20M) in fast-paced enterprise environments. In this role, you will drive standardization across project teams, establish best practices, and mentor project management professionals to improve performance, quality, and delivery outcomes.

  • Lead and oversee complex IT projects and programs from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and PMO governance.
  • Develop and maintain project management frameworks, templates, and methodologies across multiple delivery models (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
  • Provide quality assurance (QA) reviews and continuous process improvements for project documentation, reporting, and controls.
  • Ensure compliance with SDLC governance, scope management, change control, and resource planning.
  • Manage RAID logs, RACI matrices, decision logs, and performance metrics to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Partner with business and technical leaders to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and mentoring programs to elevate project management capability across teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in project and program management, preferably within large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience leading IT project governance and SDLC oversight.
  • Demonstrated success in developing PM standards, templates, and methodologies.
  • Experience conducting QA reviews and implementing process improvements.
  • Proven track record managing large programs (>$20M preferred).
  • Experience training, mentoring, or coaching PM professionals.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (required).
  • Expert-level knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC phases, governance, and compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Skilled in developing and managing RACI matrices, RAID logs, decision logs, change control, scope management, resource plans, and governance frameworks.
  • Exceptional documentation and template design skills.
  • Experience creating training materials, guides, and job aids.
