This role manages day to day operations of the department, develops and manages the department's budget for specific projects and activities, supervises staff, manages relationships with vendors and/or outside consultants, proposes, evaluates, and implements special projects such as new system implementation and business process re-engineering, directs and coordinates long range planning and evaluating, revises and implements written procedures, and acts as a liaison to other departments for the implementation of new projects.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, computer science, business or a related field.
Five years project planning or related experience
Master's degree with 3 years previous project planning or related experience.

Responsibilities

Manages day to day operations of the department.
Develops and manages the department's budget for specific projects and activities.
Supervise staff and provides on-going performance feedback and addresses problems; hires, orients and trains employees, verifies competency and identifies and suggests ways to develop skills.
Manages relationships with vendors and/or outside consultants.
Propose, evaluates, and implements special projects such as new system implementation and business process re-engineering.
Directs and coordinates long range planning and evaluating; revises and implements written procedures.
Acts as a liaison to other departments for the implementation of new projects.
Performs other related duties as required.
