About The Position

The Senior Project Manager is primarily responsible for increasing sales and market share of the brands represented, while generating a profit for our client, Google. This role is HQ-facing and ideal for someone who excels in project management, cross-functional coordination, corporate client communication, and consistently achieves outstanding results.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Must have 5–8 years of experience in project management, preferably supporting wireless, CE/mobile, telecom, OEM, carrier, or retail technology initiatives.
  • Must demonstrate strong project management skills, including the ability to successfully lead cross‑functional teams, manage budgets, timelines, risks, and deliver complex programs at an HQ level.
  • Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience as an account manager and a track record of outstanding sales results for manufacturers under his/her responsibility.
  • Must be proficient in various software used to support the project management function, including Google applications.
  • Must have a strong understanding and experience in the retail/telecommunications space
  • Must have a strong background in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Must possess strong communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Must have the ability to analyze sales and marketing information necessary for effective advisement to the client.
  • Must have demonstrated exceptional ability to use analytical data and track program spend.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
  • Must be able to use all relevant tools required to complete the role, such as tablets, laptops, mobile phones, etc.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and be able to drive a car.
  • Must be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Create go‑to‑market, launch readiness, and program implementation plans based on business needs.
  • Lead all aspects of HQ-level project/account management.
  • Engage daily with Google and other corporate stakeholders to provide program updates, address escalations, and ensure seamless execution of client priorities.
  • Effectively use knowledge of wireless, CE/mobile, and client strategy to support the successful deployment of client programs and corporate initiatives.
  • Involve marketing, operations, product, training, analytics, and administrative resources as needed.
  • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of program strategies, training initiatives, GTM plans, and operations to Google and internal Program Managers.
  • Ensure feedback reflects accurate KPI analysis and insights from cross‑functional support.
  • Maintain and grow program impact by improving operational efficiency, training adoption, and performance metrics across all supported markets.
  • Achieve program results while optimizing cost of delivery, resource allocation, and budget utilization.
  • Support training and enablement initiatives by coordinating communications, assets, certification programs, dashboards, and adoption metrics.
  • Develop and maintain governance systems—including dashboards, project plans, KPI scorecards, and funding trackers—to support program visibility and decision-making.
  • Respect program and company budgetary guidelines; manage MDF/trade fund processes in accordance with internal and client requirements.
  • Proactively communicate with key principals and stakeholders regarding performance, program needs, risks, and cross‑functional dependencies.
  • Seek assistance from senior leaders to understand program strategy and successfully develop or deliver executive-level presentations for client objectives.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to all stakeholders, including KPIs, risks, trends, and performance drivers.
  • Maintain current distribution, market, and program performance information across all assigned accounts.
  • Regularly review dashboards and reporting for accuracy, performance insights, and program impact.
  • Proactively share client and program intelligence with other team members to strengthen organizational capability.
  • Develop strategic program plans that support client priorities and long‑term growth goals.
  • Utilize project management tools and communication platforms to execute program deliverables efficiently; continuously strengthen personal skill levels across required technologies.
  • Contribute to the development, refinement, and successful execution of training programs and GTM initiatives.
  • Provide feedback to the Program Manager on organizational capability and operational improvement opportunities.
  • Supervise, monitor, and evaluate the personal development of all direct reports and establish performance agreements.
  • Be responsible for special projects upon request.
