About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead HVAC, plumbing, and process projects from concept to completion. This role combines project management, client relationship development, and field coordination. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience managing HVAC projects ranging from $50,000 to $100M+
  • Proven experience in estimating, design, and project management is required
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new business and manage client relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • A valid Class C driver's license is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with JDE, IFS, BidTracer, FastEst, Bluebeam, Box, Smartsheet, or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • The Senior Project Manager serves as the single point of responsibility to the client.
  • They manage projects from sales through completion, including concept engineering, estimating, proposals, and field coordination.
  • Responsibilities include overseeing contracts, procurement, labor, installation sequencing, and financial management.
  • The role requires forecasting, preparing budgets, and controlling costs within agreed-upon limits.
  • The Senior Project Manager prepares letters, proposals, contracts, change orders, and other documentation to ensure proper procedures and legal protection, and manages billing while maintaining an accurate understanding of job costs.
  • This role leads client meetings and develops contracts to finalize sales, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and industry partners.
  • The Senior Project Manager coordinates internal departments such as Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction, and Service during project execution.
  • They mentor and support sales staff through recruiting, training, and coaching initiatives and participate in committees and special projects to enhance technical capabilities.
  • The Senior Project Manager consults with management and department heads as needed, schedules and leads pre-construction meetings and project reviews, and ensures effective utilization of staff across departments to achieve project objectives.
