In this role, the successful candidate will assist in delivering environmental solutions for both private and government sector clients, particularly on hazardous waste sites. Requirements

  • Minimum required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degrees with 12-yr experience, Master’s degrees with 10 yr experience, or PhD degrees with 8-yr experience.
  • Experience in environmental remediation projects, with a background in earthwork is preferred
  • Experience managing complex projects and navigating regulations
  • Proficiency with environmental software and tools
  • Understanding of geotechnical principles and remediation techniques
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • A valid driver's license is required as is a willingness to travel.

Nice To Haves

  • Active PE or PG licensure in good standing is preferred but individuals with the ability to obtain professional licensure will also be considered.
  • Experience with earthwork projects a plus, including understanding of waste management, disposal, and fill requirements
  • Demonstrated business development and client management experience desired
  • A 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification is preferred.

  • Staying updated on industry best practices
  • Managing environmental remediation projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory programs including Pennsylvania’s Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Act (Act 2), Storage Tank Program, Hazardous Sites Cleanup Act, CERCLA, RCRA, and others
  • Support proposal efforts across a wide-range of scopes and markets
  • Manage projects from inception to completion with regulatory compliance and ensuring timely, on-budget execution and maintaining project controls throughout
  • Work with and lead a project team consisting of technicians, scientists, and engineers to meet project objectives and maintain client satisfaction
  • Prepare remedial work plans and remedial investigation reports, cleanup plans, and final project reports
  • Excel at communications, ensuring all stakeholders are consistently informed on project progress and execution
  • Manage a variety of subcontractors, ensuring quality and delivery
