The individual in this role is responsible for providing guidance and oversight to multiple teams working on numerous projects. A Sr. Project Manager oversees all phases of a technical project from conception and design to completion, while providing engineering guidance to other departments and training new engineering staff.   • Provide guidance and oversight to multiple teams working on numerous projects.
  • Oversee all phases of a technical project from conception and design to completion.
  • Provide engineering guidance to other departments.
  • Train new engineering staff.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum 15 years' progressive engineering experience required.
  • Experience working with FDOT required, specifically in district D6 & 4.
  • Expert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline(s) with a proven ability to practically apply best practices.
  • Proficiency with MS Office software required.
  • Understands QA/QC procedures and basic business practices as well as laws related to engineering.
  • Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.).
  • Completely familiar with and advocates for the company's standards for quality control and compliance.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership skills and effectively work in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of fundamentals in specialty areas.
  • An active role in a professional engineering society/organization preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead a team.
  • Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred.
  • Salary range: $145,000 - $175,000 based on qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation.
