About The Position

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Sr Project Manager to join our team! The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading multi-disciplinary project teams to execute client work scopes and collaborating with LSC’s management team to ensure company goals are met. Projects typically include Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, and Pipeline Engineering, while some projects may span across one or more business units. This role requires a strategic leader with proven client relationship management skills and a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• PMP certification (or willingness to pursue).
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in project management or senior management roles.
• Strong working knowledge of project management concepts, tools, and practices with a proven ability to deliver defined project scope on time and within budget.
• Proven leadership experience in managing teams and/or complex, large-scale projects.
• Ability to balance multiple, competing deadlines while maintaining a high level of organization and focus.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization.
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to assess urgency, importance, and risk.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in addressing clients and large groups.
• Deep experience with earned value management and metrics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Adaptability to rapidly changing priorities, markets, and client needs.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to see both the big picture and the technical detail.
• Proven ability to learn quickly and thrive in new markets, technologies, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with LSC’s Project Management team and Directors to assess opportunities, develop proposals, cost estimates and assemble project teams.
• Manage multiple, concurrent projects using traditional project management practices to deliver top-quality results while mitigating risk throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop business opportunities by networking and leveraging existing client relationships in collaboration with LSC business units.
• Translate client needs into clear scopes of work and ensure alignment across the project team.
• Coordinate and lead project teams across multiple LSC offices and remote locations.
• Identify and secure the right resources by working closely with discipline managers.
• Maintain project tracking tools for work breakdown structures and ensure accuracy of earned value reporting.
